Windows and light and modern decor in a small storefront with a mere 28 seats--and extremely popular so be sure to reserve far in advance. For the past three years Tom and Jonathan Rapp, a father-son team, have altered the brief menu every day, according to what`s fresh and what suits their tastes. Meatloaf and the rich chocolate soufflé are the signature dishes, and there also might be charcoal-grilled squid with roasted peppers, handmade tagliolini with carbonara sauce, half-cured salmon with a fennel-mango salad, and a roast half chicken with their special mole sauce.
